Dr. Nadine Abdelhadi

Dr. Nadine Abdelhadi

Dr. Nadine Abdelhadi is currently the founding director at the Red Sea Studies Center at Aqaba University of Technology. She is a passionate scientist, she holds a PhD degree and she ranked first in her class. During her study, she received the distinguished postgraduate student grant. Her thesis title was "Leptin and Omega 3 Fatty Acids Involvement in a Molecular Cross-Talk Influencing Breast Cancer Cell Proliferation, Migration and Apoptosis". She studied multiple breast cancer cell lines utilizing advanced biochemical, cellular and molecular techniques. She filed a patent application at the United States patent office in 2018.

She worked at King Hussein cancer centre in the field of clinical research. She also worked as a regulatory affairs manager. She designed ,wrote the clinical trial protocol and all other clinical trial documents, managed, monitored, and prepared the final study report in accordance the ICH guidelines for many clinical studies. Dr. Abdelhadi worked also as a patent specialist and as a liaison officer at EU SRTD II project. She holds the American Board Certification in clinical pharmacy and pharmacotherapy (American College of Clinical Pharmacy). She also holds a postgraduate certificate in strategic management, DePaul University, USA, a Mini MBA in business administration-professional diploma in business administration, a professional diploma in educational administration, and a Mini MBA in pharmaceutical marketing, sales and management from the German Jordanian University. Currently, she is an expert reviewer at the National Institute for Health Research which is a United Kingdom government agency which funds research into health and social care. She is also an expert reviewer at the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation. Dr. Abdelhadi was chosen in 2020 to be the first research ambassador of Clinerion, a well know Swiss research organization. She worked on many international projects funded by USAID, European Union (FP7, H2020 & Erasmus projects) and UN-ESCWA. She provided technical support to many prestigious institutions including Prince El-Hasan Science City / Royal Scientific Society, the UN-ESCWA - Technology Center, Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship and Qatar Foundation. She has a vast expertise in the fields of project management, entrepreneurship, intellectual property, commercialization, innovation, technology transfer and research.
